Flygt PL 7000 Series Pumps:

The Flygt 7000-series pumps have been developed for highly efficient pumping of large volumes of storm-water and clean water at low heads. They are submersible, close coupled single stage axial flow pumps. Each pump model is designed around a common motor frame that utilizes different propeller profiles and blade angles to obtain the desired flow/head characteristics.

Typical applications for the 7000-series pumps provide transportation of clean, as well as solids-bearing, water-based liquids. Common examples are municipal, commercial and industrial storm water collection systems, effluent pumping at wastewater treatment plants and raw water intakes. In addition to the above applications, the 7000-series pumps are highly suitable for many pumping applications in the recreation and amusement park industry. Most models can be supplied in explosion-proof versions to meet local and national code requirements.

For applications that may contain large quantities of organic solids as typically found in storm water applications, we offer a "non-clog" feature that allows these axial flow pumps to excel when handing large quantities of fibrous, stringy material. This "N" feature allows the pumps to reliably handle all incoming solids that can pass a 3" or 4" bar screen.

The 7000-series propeller pump is installed by simply lowering the one piece pump-motor unit into the discharge column pipe. The weight of the pump-motor unit firmly secures the pump to the pump seat. Removal for inspection is very simple - just raise the pump-motor unit from the pump discharge column. There is no need to enter the wet-well to conduct a pump inspection.


Flygt LL 3000 Series Pumps:

The Flygt LL/NL 3000-series mixed flow pumps have been developed for efficient pumping of small to medium volumes of wastewater, storm water and lightly contaminated water at medium heads. They are submersible, close coupled single stage radial impeller pumps with diffusers. Each pump model is designed around a common motor frame that utilizes different impellers and impeller trims to obtain the desired flow/head characteristics.

Typical applications for the Flygt LL/NL 3000-series pumps provide transportation of clean water as well as solids-bearing, water-based liquids. Common examples are municipal, agricultural, and industrial storm applications, effluent pumping at wastewater treatment plants and raw water intakes. In addition to the above applications, the NL 3000-series pumps are highly suitable for applications that may contain large quantities of organic solids. This series of pumps includes an "N" impeller feature that allows the pumps to reliably excel when handing large quantities of fibrous and stringy materials. Most models can be supplied in explosion-proof versions to meet local and national code requirements.

Flygt's 4600-series Ultra Low Head Pumps are submersible, close-coupled horizontal shaft, axial flow pumps suitable for pumping clean and lightly contaminated solids- bearing liquids in a variety of applications. Each pump model is designed around a common motor frame that utilizes different propeller pitches to obtain the desired flow/head characteristics.

Typical applications for the 4600-series pumps provide transportation of clean or lightly contaminated water-based liquids, such as found in municipal and industrial applications, amusement park rides, storm water, and any application involving low head pumping of partially screened clean or contaminated water.

The pump design is based on a direct driven, heavy duty, electric submersible motor unit, with a solids handling propeller and bell shaped inlet. The 4600-series pumps are installed by simply lowering the integral pump-motor unit, down into the wet well along a dual guide rail system and onto its discharge connection. The pump automatically seals against the discharge connection by virtue of its own weight. Since bolts or other fastening devices are not required for installation of these pumps, removal for inspection and service is extremely easy. There is no need for personnel to enter the wet well for pump removal; all that is necessary is to lift the pump-motor unit up and out of the wet well along the guide rails.
